Select how Library carousel images are sorted

The image carousel images seem to be sorted by name, if I am not mistaken.

Sometimes the names of my pictures are “out of sync“ and there might be a smaller stack in the middle of a larger stack, which makes selecting the larger stack impossible without moving the files physically to another location.

Being able to select how the images are sorted would overcome this issue.
