It would be very useful to have the ability to save an active stack while it is being worked on, so that you can leave the stack and return to it at a later time without losing your progress.
For example, when working with a large stack, I may need to stop for the day or work on another stack. It would be helpful to be able to save the current state of the stack, close Macro Studio, and later reopen it and continue from exactly where I left off.
Ideally, this would save the current processing and retouching state, rather than requiring the stack to be started again from the beginning.
This would be particularly useful when working with large stacks that take a considerable amount of time to process and may require retouching.
