Today’s DNG export is a “developed” DNG. It has our white balance and color / adjustments baked in, and is really more like a TIFF file but in a DNG format. While Lightroom reads it correctly, other editors like Capture One, ON1, etc. apply their own color profile on top of our existing profile, so it comes out looking very different.
We need an option to export a true raw DNG which is pure sensor data, stacked. This will render correctly in all editing apps. Your Macro Studio adjustments (color, retouch, etc.) will not make it into this file (by design), so if you make adjustments and want to do further work in an editor, you should export a TIFF for that.
