Autostack on existing folder structure

Does Autostack work with an existing folder structure, i.e. without doing the grouping?

If i had:

…/brackets/bracket-001

…

…/brackets/bracket-NNN

and I pointed Autostack to …/brackets, what would happen?

I would like to have an option to skip the grouping, but take each sub-folder as one complete bracket.
