Version 2026.07.26

This release contains a number of Retouch tool improvements based on user feedback

• Right panel disappears during Retouch (and other edit modes) to maximize screen space and minimize distraction

• New checkbox option in Retouch to preview the edit inside the paintbrush tool itself

• Press “s” to see the source frame in the result frame. Can be used in conjunction with Shift-scroll to quickly browse source frames in full-screen retouch.

• Brush strength now applies per-stroke instead of based on dwell time, so a stroke lands the same whether you paint fast or slow.

• Feather now grows outward from brush core (similar to Lightroom) instead of inward

• Hold-to-pan is now Spacebar by default (Alt/Option is still selectable in Preferences)

• Arrow keys now navigate source frames in Retouch again

(Coming soon: ability to Retouch from other edited images, not just source frames.)
